Edward William Brinkman has been licensed in the real estate, finance and investment business in Hawaii full-time since 1987. With a focus on SALES of apartment buildings, condos, houses and vacant land; FINANCING using private sources for non-conforming and hard-money loans; EXPERT WITNESS SERVICES for local and national law firms; and providing BPO and CONSULTING for lenders and developers. Edward has assisted a variety of national and foreign companies in the acquisition and disposition of Hawaii investment properties including Academy Shuppan Company of Japan, Divetronic Company of Liechtenstein, Chaminade University of Hawaii and Roberts Hawaii. With a strong background in commercial financing and property management, Mr. Brinkman has become one of the most sought after real estate experts in the Honolulu market. Besides previously being listed in the Pacific Business News for top annual sales, he also has done condo sales as small as $15,000 (leasehold co-ops) with equal vigor and passion to help his highly valued clients.

Eddie was a broker/partner/owner of Doug Davis Realty Inc. in Honolulu from 1998-2013, averaging over 100 transactions and $60 million in sales each year. Prior to that he owned, operated and then sold Alexandra-Zachary Real Estate, Property Management and Real Estate Sales Company in Honolulu in 1994. He was a top commercial loan broker in 1996 & 1997 specializing in multi-family loans for Helm Bank of Miami, a former investment associate with Marcus & Millichap, and the Principal Broker for the Hawaii office of Stratus Real Estate Inc., which managed over 21,000 apartments in 4 states.

Married with 5 children, Eddie has been passionate about surfing since he was 10 years old. He enjoys sharing his hobbies with his kids which include reading, playing and studying chess, snowboarding, playing music, surfing and building surfboards. He mostly enjoys participating daily in the education and trends of the real estate industry.
